Privacy Policy

Quincena ("we", "our", or "the app") is a local-first bill reminder. It works offline and offers an optional account to sync data between devices through our infrastructure.

What we collect

Data you enter (bill names, amounts, due dates, categories, notes, and payments) is stored on your device first. If you connect a Quincena account for sync, it is encrypted in transit and stored in PostgreSQL under an internal UUID. We do not store photos or receipts.

We do not collect: bank credentials, account numbers, bank transaction history, location, or photos. Apple or Google may authenticate your account; email is not our canonical identity and identities are never merged automatically.

Subscriptions and payments

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple shares only the anonymous receipt and entitlement status needed to unlock Premium features. We never see your payment method, billing address, or full Apple ID.

Notifications

Bill reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification system. They are never sent through our servers.

Third parties

With your consent, we use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for aggregate product usage and crash diagnostics. Collection starts disabled and can be changed in Settings. We do not send Firebase backend UUIDs, names, amounts, notes, bill names, or financial dates. We do not use Firebase Auth, Firestore, Storage, AdSupport, or advertising. RevenueCat processes Premium status, and Apple or Google may process authentication you choose.

Your rights

You may use Quincena without an account, disable Firebase in Settings, and delete local data in the app. If you connected an account, Settings lets you sign out or request deletion; deletion revokes sessions and removes your profile, identities, and synchronized data from the backend. Rotating backups may retain encrypted data for a limited period before expiry.

Children

Quincena is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, when changes are material, mention them on the app's release notes.
